Vacancy for Parish Councillor

This vacancy will be filled by co-option at a future meeting of the Parish Council.

If you would like to play a part in shaping where you live and making decisions for the benefit of the community, then please consider joining the Parish Council.

Cheswardine Parish Council has 9 seats (1 currently vacant) and serves the Parish of Cheswardine.

Annual Community Meeting - Tuesday 30th April 2024

Cheswardine Parish Council is a local council and is the first tier of local government for Cheswardine. The Council consists of 9 local councillors who are elected every four years by the residents to represent their interests.

Cheswardine is a rural parish situated about four and a half miles to the south of Market Drayton and adjacent to the border with Staffordshire.  It is comprised of Cheswardine village, the hamlets of Ellerton, Soudley and Chipnall, and small settlements in the surrounding countryside.
