The new swings at Cheswardine Playing Field are installed and back in use!
The two replacement metal frames provide two cradle seats for younger children and two flat seats for older children. Repairs have also been completed on a bike ramp and the multi-play equipment.
These improvements form part of Cheswardine Parish Council’s continued investment in the playing field, helping to keep it safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
The playground is inspected by accredited inspectors four times a year, and the Parish Council takes prompt action when work is needed. The items identified as moderate risk in the August inspection have now been addressed through these replacement and repair works. Maintenance is an ongoing commitment, supported by regular investment from the Council.
Thank you for your patience while the work was completed. We hope children enjoy using the new swings!
If you have any concerns about the playground, its equipment or our inspection reports, please contact the Clerk at [email protected]
